Wow, great book. VERY thoughtful and thought-provoking. Very sophisticated and mature conceptualization of how societal problems could lead to the necessity for an exodus, and extremely well thought-out concepts for ark-like vessels to do the job. Really solid attempt to put the "hard" in hard scifi. Can't wait for the next one!!!!!!

In the vein of Andy Weir and Firefly
Thanks to Alastair Wells for the ARC of this book. It starts out like a book in the style of Andy Weir then moves into a Firefly like vibe. The characters are very interesting and have a lot of great background. The main character has a mystery about him that is an important part of the book. I can’t wait for the second book. A great read!
